Initial Assessment - We start with an initial assessment of your yard. We take soil samples for testing, perform an irrigation assessment, and determine if any clean up and recycling is necessary.

Initial Service - Prior to the start date of your initial service, we perform testing of your soil to determine the pH level and the major nutrient levels. During the first service visit, we prepare your yard for ongoing weekly service. We aerate your lawn(s) and based upon the results of your soil testing we adjust your lawn's pH level and fertilize using all-natural fertilizer. We also perform the services listed below. We will also perform clean-up and recycling of yard waste, if necessary.

Ongoing Weekly Service - Each week we mow your lawn(s) using electric or manual mowers, Clippings are “grasscycled” on lawn unless you request otherwise. Hedges, plantings, and shrubs will be periodically trimmed, as needed. Other non-lawn ground cover will be maintained unless excluded. Borders, curbs, driveways, walkways, and lawns are line-trimmed or edger-trimmed during each service visit, if necessary. Any exclusions will be noted. Hard surfaces such as driveways, walkways, and open areas will be air or hand swept on each service visit unless excluded. Minor yard litter removal & recycling is included.

Additional Included Services - We continue to aerate and fertilize your lawn for a total of four treatments per year. All labor and materials are included in the Premium Service monthly fee. The timing of the aeration and treatments is based upon your lawn species. Usually lawns in the Bay Area will be aerated and fertilized once upon the initial service and then again in March, June, and September.
